The hotside pipe from the factory on the LLY trucks is often known to fail. The factory routing that it takes rubs on the power steering line; this causes the line to create a hole in the tube resulting in a boost leak and loss of power. This has been a problem from day one, and HSP Diesel knows it can be a big one with no notice. This is why our Hot Side tube routes directly into the intercooler; this results in lower temperatures, better airflow, and added clearance in those tight places. The Hot side intercooler tube is made from a 3" mandrel-bent tube that can be powder coated to spice up the engine bay.Tell us about the Cold Side Tube that comes in the Intercooler Bundle KitThe Cold side pipe is also made of a 3" diameter tube.
